Students who are finished with Van Gogh starry night but not the dip technique will continue on to a marker impressionist creation after Van Gogh’s Provance area paintings. Van Gogh produced 350 paintings from the area of Saint-Remy de Provence for his mad quest for the light of the area that he called it’s “yellow sun”.

The instructor will begin and students will follow with a house, tree, roads, field on a hill close to the house and then bands of colorful fields towards the bottom. The composition offers the opportunity to show that the fields look different in different areas.
